語法問題：「指」の表現

今回の2つの問題は 、「指」に関する内容です。
「手の指」と「足の指」の呼び方についてですが、手の指は finger 、足の指は toe と言います。
それぞれの指の呼び方は以下の通りです。
◆手の指
「親指」
thumb
「人差し指」
forefinger / the index finfer / the first finger
「中指」
the middle finger / the second finger
「薬指」
the ringer finger / the third finger
「小指」
the little finger / the fourth finger / the pinky finger
◆足の指
「親指」
the first toe / the big toe / the great toe
「人差し指」
the second toe
「中指」
the third toe
「薬指」
the fourth toe
「小指」
the fifth toe / the little toe

問題の文は「彼は親指と人差し指(の間)で蝶をつまみあげた」という意味になります。
つまみ上げるのですから、人差し指と親指でないといけません。
答えは(3) thumb になります。

A ( ) is one of the five movable parts at the end of each foot.
問題の文は「足の指とは、両足の先端にある5つの動かすことのできる部分のことです」という意味になります。
両足の先端にあるもの、ということなので「足の指」だと分かります。
答えは(1) toe です。
